Overview |
This module is a high-level overview of equipment reliability, availability, maintainability, and productivity (RAMP) disciplines. It contains basic concepts, definations, terminolgies, metrics, and their interdependancies and hierarchy. The module is designed to teach the essentials of RAMP desciplines without delving deeply into mathematical theory. |
Who Should Attend |
- Manufacturing equipment suppliers who want to track and improve reliability, availability, maintainability, and productivity (RAMP) performance metrics of the Equipment they supply
- Manufacturers who want to track and improve reliability, availability, maintainability, and productivity (RAMP) performance metrics of the Equipment they use in their factories
- Manufacturing Equipment Design, Manufacturing, and Service Engineers and their Managers
- Field Personnel
- Equipment Engineers
- Process Engineers
- Software Engineers
- Part and Equipment Buyers
- Product Program Managers
|
Course Objectives |
- Learn basic concepts, definitions, terminologies, and metrics for Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and productivity (RAMP) disciplines
- Learn interdependencies and hierarchy of the RAMP metrics
- Equipment Suppliers learn how to interpret customers’ equipment RAMP metrics requirements
- Learn how to organize RAMP group and how to assess goodness of its RAMP improvement programs
